John De Mol started his media career as a program technician at Radio Noordzee. In 1979 he formed John De Mol Productions and it was used to produced programs for clients like Sky Channel and TROS. "Love Letters" was his the first project in abroad which was in 1990. Later lots of popular program was produced by John De Mol Productions. John De Mol is the creator of famous reality game show Big Brother. In 1994, John De Mol Produkties and Joop van den Ende Productions created Endemol Entertainment - aiming at international growth. Over those years de Mol was awarded numbers of TV prizes and other awards.
