The Accidental Tourist is one of the most dramatic film I have ever seen. It is a very serious movie with lots of humor and romance. I know it may sounds odd but if you watch this movie you will feel in same way. You will laugh, you will feel romantic and you will mesmerize by the performance of some fantastic actors and actress.
The Accidental Tourist is a total entertainment package. The story line is based on relationship between husband and wife, brother and sister, parents and son. Lawrence Kasdan, the director of this movie took a very different way to tell a very serious story. So there had fun, emotion and romance.
In the movie we see that a middle aged husband and wife got separated after losing their only child and they plan for divorce. The husband was actually a write, he write about traveling. So one day he meat with a lady who is also got divorced and had a son. Though the lady was little bit wired in nature but that middle aged confused man fall in love with her. And they pass some great time together. But one day his wife want to come back with him. Actually this is the story line in short. There had some other character who play very important part in the movie and entertained the audience.
CAST :
The whole cast was perfect. Special William Hurt as writer, Kathleen Turner as his wife and Geena Davis as his second love lady. I can guarantee that you will fall in love with William Hurt, he was so charming and attractive though he played an middle aged husband roll. On the other hand Kathleen Turner's character length was not lengthy enough but her presence was effective. Geena Davis was excellent in her roll. This character is little bit confusing - some time you may feel love for this character but in second moment you can hate the character and this is the beauty of this character.
